ASC Sweater

By request, this is my husband's most recent finished sweater, in Rowan All Seasons Cotton. It's his most favorite yarn, for having no wool and still some stretch and even manly colors... If you knit for a wool-allergic person, I would wholeheartedly recommend it. Anyway, he MADE UP (!) this pattern himself based on Elizabeth Zimmerman's Percentage System, with all the cables and chevron side ribs and everything, and then knit it. I think it's a great example of how a really basic sweater pattern can be made entirely your own (especially if you're willing to weave in a lot of ends!).
