Another Ball Band Washcloth

This is my first ballband washcloth. There will be more where that came from. I like the concept, and working with the color potential is really fun. I think the next will be a baby blanket, so I can use all the stuff I have! Posted by Picasa

I thought I tried to post this before, so if it's a reapeat, my apologies if this shows up again. I love the colors you used! I just finished my first dishcloth also; it looks just like the one posted in ball band wagon update.

Neat colors!

I was wondering if anyone had any trouble with colors bleeding. I wanted to do maroon and ecru but I put the maroon under hot and cold water and both conditions caused the color to bleed. I then washed the ball a few times and now it bleeds much much less. Should I still try the maroon and ecru? -Fay

Has anyone seen the Sugar 'n' Cream dishcloth contest? http://www.sugarncream.com/theoriginal.php I thought it would be perfect considering all of our cotton consumption!

I also figured out my color bleeding problem. I washed my maroon a few times until it didn't bleed anymore and let it dry. Then I did a test - a mini ballband with the maroon and ecuu, washed and dried it and the ercu hasn't turned pink! -Fay
